Vice President Content and Client Strategy
555 Madison Avenue,
New York, NY 10022
Steven Andersen leads several public relations account teams for Infinite Global and heads the firm’s Content Center. He helps some of the world’s largest, best known and most specialized law firms execute media strategies tailored to their specific objectives. He also works with clients in the financial services, consulting, accounting and intellectual property sectors.
Before joining the firm in 2012, Steve focused most of a 19-year journalism career in the business, legal and energy press. He covered Chicago law and politics as managing editor of Illinois Legal Times. He wrote about litigation, corporate accounting scandals and intellectual property as a reporter for Corporate Legal Times. Writing for LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell’s Counsel to Counsel gave him an insider’s perspective on the most pressing challenges facing corporate legal departments. As contributing editor to Public Utilities Fortnightly he wrote on market structure, renewable energy generation and the smart grid. And in 2008 he established InsideCounsel’s Corporate Crime department, just in time to cover the fallout of the global financial crisis and the surge in international corruption enforcement.
Throughout his career Steve has focused on clearly presenting complex subject matter to sophisticated audiences. He has interviewed thousands of lawyers, senior executives and government officials. His broad experience helps him coach clients on how to make the most of media opportunities, and to craft media strategies that deliver insightful messages to targeted audiences. He holds a BA magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota.
