Business Insider again names CEO Jamie Diaferia among top crisis communicators
For the second straight year, Business Insider has included Infinite Global CEO Jamie Diaferia on its list of top crisis PR executives. The 2021 list recognized the “19 top public relations experts CEOs scramble to hire in a crisis.”
To compile the list, Business Insider said it identified the crisis PR pros who handled the biggest volume and most high-profile and controversial assignments of the past year.
“Diaferia, who pivoted from law school to PR, started his own shop Infinite Global just after September 11, 2001, and despite being a small firm, he’s worked behind the scenes on some of the biggest stories in the news, including the collapse of Enron, the Penn State scandal and several high-profile civil and criminal prosecutions…,” Business Insider wrote.
The media organization went on to say, “Diaferia continues to rep Scott Hapgood, an investment banker accused of manslaughter in Anguilla, for whom he mounted what The New York Times called ‘a formidable public relations campaign, winning sympathy and support from various American politicians,’ including President Trump himself.”
Diaferia has also been named one of Lawdragon‘s “100 Leading Legal Consultants and Strategists,” among PR News’ “50 Game-Changers of PR,” and is consistently ranked by Chambers in its Communications supplement.
