BRIEF

Infinite Global was appointed by a claimant law firm to provide comprehensive communications and advocacy campaign support on the largest group action lawsuit ever brought in the UK, totalling in excess of £5bn.

More than 200,000 individuals, municipalities, businesses, associations and members of indigenous communities brought the case against a mining corporation following an environmental catastrophe.

APPROACH

We created a campaign brand identity, advocacy materials, case studies and a microsite, providing easily accessible information for claimants.

We developed and coordinated global media relations strategy, with a focus on the UK, US, South American and Australia. This included both pro-active and re-active planning.

OUTCOME

Extensive international, national, sector and social media coverage was delivered around the claim, including a range of news articles, print features, social campaign content and placed letters from both political figures and claimants.
