Infinite Global’s CEO Jamie Diaferia: ‘2021 has to be a better year’

Infinite Global CEO Jamie Diaferia recently spoke with PR Daily for their ‘Day in the Life’ series, where he discussed what his typical day looks like, the tool he can’t live without and the biggest change he has faced since the pandemic began.

When looking at how the business world has been shaped by the COVID-19 pandemic, Diaferia spoke to how some of the changes have been arguably positive. Increased engagement with stakeholders, personal outreach to clients and adoption of new technology have been a plus for communicators, and are all elements that he hopes will continue in the future.

In the discussion, Diaferia was also asked about how he has personally been fairing during the pandemic and what his number one message has been for clients, co-workers and employees for the rest of 2020.

He weighed in by saying that his message has been: “2021 has to be a better year. I can’t imagine what would have to happen for it to be worse—a meteor? A Kenny G. comeback tour?

Let’s just get through 2020 with our health intact, implement real changes based on the lessons of the BLM movement, and be grateful. There’s nothing like a pandemic to make you appreciate life.”
