Infinite Global announces appointment of first chief growth officer
March 16, 2022
Infinite Global announces today that Kenneth Gary, a veteran communications, marketing and business development professional with deep experience in the legal, financial services and emerging industries, has joined the international strategic communications firm as its first chief growth officer.
Based in New York, Ken will focus on enhancing and diversifying Infinite Global’s service lines and identifying areas for new business development in the U.S. and UK, while also helping the agency’s talent develop professionally. Throughout his accomplished career, Ken has worked as a journalist and editor at Thomson Reuters, publisher of the National Law Journal, chief marketing and business development officer for a legal technology company and head of business development for a leading business-to-business wholesale cannabis platform.
“Ken is an incredible talent and gifted mentor who has excelled during the course of his career at strategically growing businesses from trade publications and PR agencies to cannabis, legal and innovation companies,” said Infinite Global CEO Jamie Diaferia. “Not only is he deeply respected in the legal sector, where Infinite Global has its roots, but he is also a strategic mind who will help us assess new opportunities in the highly regulated and emerging industries we’ve served over the years.”
Ken will head Infinite Global’s marketing and business development function, leading new business efforts and identifying business development and corporate expansion opportunities. Equally important, as a leader and mentor, he will motivate and coach team members to ensure constant development of their skills as well as long-term professional development.
“I’ve known and had a deep respect for Infinite Global and its leadership for more than 20 years,” Ken said. “It’s been incredibly impressive to watch them go from start-up PR firm to one of the most successful communications and marketing advisory companies in the professional services sector, and the opportunity to be a part of their next chapter is one I couldn’t pass up.”
Ken joins most recently from LeafLink, the leading B2B cannabis wholesale marketplace, logistics and payments platform, where he was director of business development for national strategic accounts. Prior to that, he was a partner at a legal business consultancy, where he conceived and designed one of the sector’s first full-spectrum digital marketing offerings, as well as collaborated to design, staff and bring to market both a legal technology and a legal innovation (“newlaw”) practice group.
“Infinite is poised to continue growing both the types of businesses we serve as well as the offerings we provide, and Ken will help drive those efforts,” said Zach Olsen, president of Infinite Global. “We will continue to add more corporate clients and financial services firms as we look to diversify.”
Ken earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law. His arrival continues a series of senior hires for Infinite Global, including vice presidents Ken Kerrigan and Clay Steward, and associate vice presidents Jean-Luc Renault and Ivette Delgado.
